Discover Season 2026

A year of brilliance, imagination, and Baroque without boundaries.

The Brandenburg has always stood for more than music. Since our very first concert, we’ve been driven by a belief in the power of live performance to move, uplift, and connect. It is a celebration of creativity, shared experience, and the moments that linger long after the final note.

In 2026, we invite you to return for a season that brings this vision to life with fresh energy and unforgettable artistry.

We begin the year with music that lies at the very heart of what we do. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, and Pachelbel — four towering voices of the Baroque era who continue to inspire generations. These are works of enduring beauty, rhythmic vitality, and emotional richness, performed with the full force and flair of the Brandenburg at its virtuosic best.

This is a season shaped by bold contrasts and remarkable voices. You’ll be drawn into the drama of Italian Baroque opera through the commanding presence of visiting baritone Renato Dolcini and experience our orchestra and choir in music that ranges from the radiant joy of Bach to the sparkling invention of Telemann. It all builds to a final chorus that promises to lift your spirits.

We are also proud to present acclaimed American violinist Augusta McKay Lodge, making her Australian debut in a program inspired by one of Vivaldi’s most talented students, Anna Maria della Pietà. A virtuoso in her own right, Anna Maria’s story continues to inspire, and this intimate concert offers a window into her world — led by an artist of exceptional clarity and imagination.

Throughout the season, you’ll encounter ancient improvisations, surprising modern turns, and even a world premiere that has been centuries in the making. This long-lost gem will be brought to life by our Principal Bass, Robert Nairn, in a moment of rediscovery both profound and unforgettable.

From the shimmer of solo brilliance to the sweep of the orchestra in full flight, every concert offers its own universe of sound. And as always, we end the year with Noël! Noël!, our cherished celebration that connects communities with warmth and festive joy.

We would be thrilled to welcome you as a Brandenburg subscriber in 2026. It’s the perfect moment to discover the magic of live Baroque music — to feel the power of these extraordinary works performed with passion, energy, and artistry. Join us for a season that promises to move, inspire, and stay with you long after the final note.
